This is last weeks rankings for qualifying points to the 2016 Kentucky Derby, which will be run at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky., on Saturday, May 7, 2016. We will have a new list the beginning of the week based on the Kentucky Derby prep races this weekend .Points are earned by the top four finishers in designated Kentucky Derby prep races. The horse racing world watches as horses amass points to see who will be running on the first Saturday in May. Earnings in non-restricted stakes races serve as a tie-breaker.
