In 1947, my family and a group of friends had a dream of going to the Kentucky Derby. In the ensuing years, my family has shared that dream with thousands of Kentucky Derby racing fans. Many came to the Derby as casual fans, others as horse owners, but all who have participated in the Kentucky Derby Junket have been changed by the experience. You don't just "see" the Derby, you become a part of it, catching the euphoria that Kentuckians dub "Derby Fever".

The first Saturday in May 2010 marks the 136th Running of the Kentucky Derby. If you are looking forward to attending the Derby for the first time, or repeating a memorable Derby experience, you can personally share in its great traditions and attend the Kentucky Derby as it should be done. Catch "Derby Fever" as a member of our Annual Kentucky Derby Junket - choice first class box seats, first class hotel accommodations, and transportation to and from all junket events. Nothing has been left to chance in making our personalized trips to the Kentucky Derby the ultimate dream come true.

We have 5 night (Tuesday to Sunday) and 3 night (Thursday to Sunday) tour packages available.

Tuesday, April 27th
Upon arrival in Louisville, you will transfer to your hotel, the Crowne Plaza Louisville. A "Welcome to Louisville" Reception will launch our junket and give us all a chance to become better acquainted.

Wednesday, April 28th
Our day starts with a VIP backside tour of the Churchill Downs stable area. During breakfast at Wagner’s Trackside Kitchen, we will watch the morning workouts at Churchill Downs. Then on to the "Gallop to Glory" ceremony at the Galt House Hotel for past Kentucky Derby winning jockeys and lunch. Our afternoon is complete with a visit to the Kentucky Derby Museum.

Thursday, April 29th
Today we travel by private bus for a day in the heart of Blue Grass Country. Visits to Downtown Lexington, Lexington Thoroughbred Park, the Kentucky Horse Park, thoroughbred breeding farm, and Keeneland Race Course are included in our tour. Lunch will be at Spindletop Hall, a forty-room mansion of classic architecture.

Friday, April 30th - Kentucky Oaks Day
Billy Reed, Eclipse Award winning turf writer, will fill us in on the latest Derby details during our Kentucky Oaks champagne buffet breakfast.  After breakfast, we will travel to see the races at Churchill Downs, highlighted by the Kentucky Oaks.  Our private box seat locations along the rail and the second and third rows back are just past the finish line and provide us with a wonderful opportunity to view the horses as they parade directly in front of us before and after each race.   Adding to the day’s excitement, Churchill Downs will open betting windows to place bets on the Derby.  After the last race, we will return to our hotel.

Saturday, May 1st - Kentucky Derby Day
This morning we will travel to Churchill Downs.  Once there, we will enjoy the same spectacular seating as we did on Kentucky Oaks Day.  The Kentucky Derby Museum is closed to the public today, but we have special admission to access the Museum.  This evening, with all the excitement of the 136th Running of the Kentucky Derby, don't forget to collect your winnings before we return to the hotel!

Sunday, May 2nd
It's been an exciting few days, as you transfer back to the airport. You'll be returning home with your winnings and enough memories of new friends and fun times to last until we see you again next year!
