On March 17, Churchill Downs Inc. announced the 146th running of the Kentucky Derby, the 1 1/4-mile classic for 3-year-olds, had been rescheduled amid public health concerns in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Churchill Downs officials have been working with other prominent partner tracks to add Road to the Kentucky Derby races and determine the various paths to the Kentucky Derby starting gate that enable horses in the best form to compete. An updated schedule of races will be announced in the coming weeks as discussions with state and local governments and all appropriate parties take place to determine the most suitable time to conduct those races.

This was originally to be the last Pool for the 2020 Kentucky Derby.  With the re-scheduling of the 2020 Kentucky Derby, Churchill Downs has said that additional Kentucky Derby Future Wagering pools will be staged.  The dates for those are pending.

Total handle for Pool 4 of the Kentucky Derby Future Wager was $213,664 ($144,349 in the Win pool and $69,315 in Exactas).
