Secretariat Statue in new home
The Secretariat Monument in Lexington, Kentucky. The statue was unveiled at Keeneland earlier this month and moved to it resting place last week. To honor Secretariat’s historic career and Triple Crown win, Jocelyn Russell, a sculptor from Washington, has made the statue and it has been placed at the Alexandria Drive and Old Frankfort Pike intersection. With the landscaping and all the effort put into the project, it is a really beautiful addition to the area. The statue is 1.5 times lifelike and jockey Ron Turcotte is aboard.
