While the Arkansas Derby and Santa Anita Derby are this Saturday’s 2013 Kentucky Derby prep races, there is another event with a Derby twist this weekend in Lawrence, Massachusetts. The Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence, Massachusetts is celebrating the 2013 Kentucky Derby with their charity event ” A Night at the Derby”.

The local paper, The Eagle-Tribune writes,
You can enter for a chance to win $10,000 in cash and support the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence. The winner will be drawn at the club’s annual auction on Saturday at DiBurro’s in Haverhill.
The auction, with a theme of “A Night at the Derby,” will include cocktails, dinner, a silent and live auction, as well as the grand raffle. Jane Dempsey’s Kentucky Derby Tours 5 night Kentucky Derby package tour for 2 will be the highlight of the silent auction.
