Keeneland is the place to be TONIGHT! Attend “It’s my Derby”.

It's my Derby smallTonight Keeneland is the place to be! The Kentucky Derby Museum is hosting their 5th annual “It’s my Derby,” a unique event where the biggest names in horse racing share their Derby winning experiences. Host and Hall of Fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas will be joined on stage by a panel of Hall of Fame jockeys.

Laffit Pincay, Jr., Angel Cordero, Jr., Pat Day and Chris McCarron will join Lukas in a casual conversation that always prompts spontaneous stories and competitive camaraderie. Collectively this group of jockeys has combined for over 30,000 wins, including seven Kentucky Derby victories, while Lukas adds another four Derby wins to the group.

“The panelist assembled for “It’s my Derby” continues the high-level of excellence and tradition of the event. All of these individuals are legends in the horse racing industry, and their shared company will provide a great insight into the Kentucky Derby experience for attendees”, said Kentucky Derby Museum President Lynn Ashton.

Premium seats are available for $150 ($125 for Museum members), which allow fans the opportunity to attend a V.I.P Reception sponsored by Buffalo Trace Distillery and receive special parking and seating accommodations, along with some time to interact with the panelists. General admission tickets are $50 per person ($40 for Museum members) and will include open seating to the event where fans will also have access to appetizer food stations and a cash bar. Event-only tickets are also available for $15. An auction that will feature some unique Derby experience packages will be held at the end of the event to help aide in this Museum fundraiser.

“It’s my Derby” will begin immediately after the conclusion of Keeneland’s last race at approximately 6 p.m., with the VIP reception to start around post time at approximately 5:30 p.m. Event sponsorship provided by Winstar Farm. Tickets are available through www.derbymuseum.org or by contacting Carla Grego at (502) 992-5905 or cgrego@derbymuseum.org
